Our commitment
Vello is committed to making vellostore.store usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We want every customer to be able to browse, understand and buy from our store independently.
Standard we aim for
We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor and cognitive disabilities.
What we do
- Provide descriptive alternative text for product and content images;
- Maintain sufficient colour contrast between text and background;
- Ensure the site can be navigated using a keyboard alone;
- Use clear headings, labelled form fields and meaningful link text;
- Design pages that work at increased zoom levels and on small screens;
- Review accessibility when we make significant changes to the site.
Known limitations
Parts of our site rely on third-party components, including our theme, payment provider and embedded apps. We do not control the code of these components and some may not yet fully meet Level AA. Where we identify a barrier we raise it with the provider and look for an alternative if it cannot be fixed.

If you encounter a barrier on our site, or need information from it in a different format, please contact us. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, and we will respond within 5 business days and do our best to provide the information or complete the transaction for you another way.
