Trademark Infringement Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Vello sells a broad catalogue of consumer goods sourced through third-party fulfilment partners. We take trade mark rights seriously and act quickly on credible complaints.
Our position
We do not knowingly list counterfeit goods, goods bearing unauthorised marks, or listings that use a third party’s trade mark in a way likely to cause confusion. Where we are notified of such a listing we investigate and, where the complaint appears valid, remove the listing and stop sourcing the item.
How to submit a complaint
If you are a trade mark owner, or authorised to act for one, please email vellosupportteam@vellostore.store with the subject line Trademark Complaint and include:
- Your name, organisation, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- The trade mark relied on, including the registration number and the jurisdiction and classes in which it is registered;
- Your relationship to the mark — owner, exclusive licensee, or authorised agent (with evidence of authority);
- The exact URL of each listing or page you say infringes;
- An explanation of why the use infringes — for example counterfeit goods, unauthorised use of a logo, or a listing likely to confuse consumers as to origin;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use complained of is not authorised by the mark owner, its agent or the law;
- A statement that the information you have supplied is accurate, and that you are the mark owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Complaints missing the registration number or the specific URLs cannot be actioned and will be returned to you.
What happens next
- We acknowledge every complete complaint within 2 business days.
- We review the listing and the evidence supplied, and may ask our supplier for authorisation documents.
- Where the complaint appears valid we remove the listing, cancel any pending orders for the item and refund affected customers.
- We notify the supplier and may suspend sourcing from them.
If you are a supplier or seller affected by a removal
If your listing was removed and you hold a licence, authorisation or other right to use the mark, reply to our notification with supporting documentation and we will review the decision.
Repeat infringement
We terminate relationships with suppliers who repeatedly provide infringing goods.
